How to Work with Podcasts

To get the most out of a Podcast, you will need iTunes, which is a free music player that works for both Mac and PC. You can download iTunes here.

1. Click here to go directly to our listing on iTunes. From there you can browse the interviews we have, and subscribe.

1. You can then Subscribe to the Podcast by copying this text (Select it, and then go to your menu bar above and click "Edit -> Copy"):
   http://feeds.feedburner.com/vet-mem
2. In iTunes, go to the menu bar and click "Advanced -> Subscribe to Podcast..."
3. A box will pop up within iTunes that says URL:. Paste the text from above by clicking "Edit -> Paste."
4. Click the OK button.
5. The latest episode will automatically start downloading. iTunes will automatically check for new episodes after that at an interval that you specify.

Soon, you will be able to press one button to subscribe to the podcast, and you will be able to browse through the directory of other podcasts and music in iTunes.

And you will also be able to get a small snippet of code from us to paste into your own page, or blog to show a button to help us promote the Veterans History Project Podcast.

Remember, you don't need iTunes to listen to our interviews. You can access them from the Interview Page, and listen to them and download them right from this site.
